Information Technology is a new major which has branched out from our existing TV/Film/Animation Department.  IT majors work towards becoming Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technicians.  The COMPTIA A+ Essentials and COMPTIA Network certifications are also integral sections of the IT curriculum.  Once students have completed the base IT program they will be able to expand into other related areas such as animation, computer sound and video engineering and other forms of digital processing technology. IT students manage their own help desk and assist in computer maintenance in our school and outside community projects.
