Charter Tech High School - Dance Major - High School for the Performing Arts

Do you love to dance? Our students dance everyday in class while studying ballet, modern, and jazz techniques. The dance program is extremely vigorous and demanding. Each year our dancers get an opportunity to perform in 2 major showcases gaining experience in many aspects of choreography and performance. Guest artists visit the dance department to teach master classes throughout the year. The dancers have the opportunity to take trips to New York and Philadelphia to see Broadway musicals and visit professional dance companies. With hard work and dedication our dancers experience a variety of performance and dance opportunities which prepare them for college and beyond.

Community Dance Lessons for all ages starting October 13th
NYC Field Trip Nov. 19th – 21st Broadway Show and Master class
Holiday Showcase December 22nd at Margate PAC 7pm
Junior Amanda DeSouza performed at the Cape May Renaissance Festival and in the Ocean City Theatre production of “Oklahoma” this summer.
